Pumice Quarry Yali

Our pumice stone quarry is located on the island of Yali, north of Nisyros, and we have operated it exclusively since 1952. It is an opencast quarry where material is extracted using the advance method of vertical faces. Our ongoing commitment to excellence and technological innovation in mining ensures the efficient and sustainable extraction of this valuable resource in full compliance with the highest standards of health, safety and environmental protection.

Quarry products hold CE certification (EN 13055-1:2002, EN 13055-2:2004) and EPD, with on-site workshop ensuring quality control of grading, moisture, weight.
